The AVISA FREE on-line gap analysis tool helps airline operators and aviation maintenance organisations working towards Safety Management System (“SMS”) compliance. 

The AVISA tool provides airlines and maintenance organisations with the means to understand the requirements of an effective ICAO and EASA compliant SMS solution.

This tool identifies the way in which hazards are identified and risks are assessed so that proactive and proportionate risk management strategies can be implemented.

The AVISA SMS tool has been developed to facilitate a Gap Analysis on an existing SMS or as a checklist to identify missing elements of an SMS, thus allowing the development of an SMS Implementation Plan.
