Aims

This course is designed to satisfy the needs of Subpart F Maintenance Organisation Staff involved in this new European GA maintenance approval for light and non-commercial aircraft.

Subparts G and I will be provided at overview level allowing Subpart F organisations to understand their interface involvement as well as future alignment with the rest of Part M.


General Topics

• Introduction to high-level applicable regulations, including the role of EASA and Continued Airworthiness in a regulatory environment
• Airworthiness and Continuing Airworthiness concepts
• EASA Part M overview, particularly Subparts B, C, D, E and H
• Detailed review of Subparts F, G and I
• Practical examples of PART M implementation and how to avoid potential problems and how to put in place a Subpart F compliant organisational structure
• Mini-workshops on how to compile an MOM and develop an ‘Organisational Review’
• Interface between subpart F and all other subparts as well as Part 21
• Related management of EASA approved changes (Modifications and Repairs)
• Nominated Form 4 Holder responsibilities
